Smile Logitech Media Bundle Wireless Mouse & Keyboard will not connect without clicking

I have a Logitech cordless keyboard, mouse and speakers that I just purchased about a month ago, as a media bundle from WalMart. They worked great until two days ago. Now, in order for me to get the mouse to work, I have to cotinuously push the connect button on the bottom, and then it will only work for about 20 seconds. Any ideas? The keyboard has also decided every once in a while to not want to work without hitting the connect button. I did try to resynchronize, by hitting the connect button on the transmitter first, then the connect buttons respectively on the mouse and keyboard. Please help.. anyone?
