Login prob.
 

I m very new to linux. I reinstalled RH linux 9, but at that time i select the graphical login method but now i want to change it to text based login. i dont know how to do this. would any one help me in this. waiting for kind replies :)

I wonder where all those people get RH9. It's no longer maintained, so you will get no bugfixes for your system.

I think you should find it in /etc/inittab. Look for a line containing initdefault and switch to a proper value. "3" should stand for command line login, 4 or 5 for graphical login.
If you want to go safe with this search for "init" or "initdefault".
