Logging in as root in Mandrake

how do i log in as root in Mandrake 9.1?

If you're using something like kdm just type in `root` as the username and your root's password and you should be in. If you're at the console, type `su` then type root's password.

the su command is only for terminal or konsole as far as i know, but i want to use a graphical interface for root like i can with redhat, is this possible?
