logger missing
 

I have a relatively basic install of debian lenny, and
logger
is missing. the package it was supposed to come with (util-linux) is installed. tried a reinstall of that package, but no difference.
many software packages depend on logger to be working. i am confused.
any idea where to start?

Ok, i just copied the code from another debian box, and all is good. still, why the re-install didnt fix it, i dont know.
