sometimes you just have to accept that some money is blown into the wind (literal translation)... i like to look at the overall benefit, if i buy 10 items and one of them is good to be thrown away, it only adds 10% to the rest. now if only one of these 10 items was free, all is good again... :D ok, that's simplified. that said, i recently lost a game of Catan because of this mentality - i was too willing with swapping resources, accepting a little loss along the way... :-( |
