Question Log in to debian gui (gnome) desktop via telnet

I have a terminal running debian with a GUI (gnome) desktop and I want to telnet in from another machine and log the terminal in past the "login screen". Is there a command that can do this??

yes telnet gets me onto the terminal but I want to log the gnome desktop in via a command from a telnet session so anyone stood at the machine would see the terminal login past the login screen and to go the desktop as a user.

Security is not a concern thanks.

I don't want a VNC solution thanks.

I want to be able to telnet in to a terminal which is sat on the logon screen (debian gnome) and I type a command in the telnet session and it logs in the terminal (to the desktop) using a username and password I enter so the user sat at the terminal I have telnet onto will see it automatically log in.

Thanks for the replies so far!
