Location of mysql logs?

I'm using Ubuntu, I set up Apache, MySQL, PHP. Everything runs fine, I set up --log-warnings but I don't know where the actual log file is located? I went to /etc/mysql/ but it's not there.

You'll find mysql logs under /var/log.
Actually, this directory contains most of log files (X11, etc..).

All log files are created in the data directory.
You can force the server to close and reopen the log files (or in some cases switch to a new log file) by flushing the logs.
Log flushing occurs when you issue a FLUSH LOGS statement or execute a
mysqladmin flush-logs, mysqladmin refresh, mysqldump --flush-logs, or mysqldump --master-data command.
