Location of Evolution Files

Carlos123 asked this question in 2005 and seems not to have received a reply, I hope I will do better!

I also wish to use Evolution in a different distro. What files does Evolution use and what are they used for?

Similarly, where can I find the bookmarks files in Firefox?

There's a hidden dir called .evolution in your home dir you can just copy over. And if you go to Organize Bookmarks menu item in Firefox you can export and import your bookmarks.
