Unhappy Loading Fedora

I wiped my HP nx9010 and attempted to load Ubuntu which never loaded; it started but never completed. I next attempted to load Fedora 13 which acted the same way. I then attempted to load Fedora 15. When I attempted to load the Fedora from a disc I burned my computer gives me an error message which reads Operating system not found. I tried booting from a USB disc with Fedora and from a CD with Fedora. How do I solve the problem?

What is your BIOS setup? i.e. what boot order do you have your devices in? Is the system actually even trying to boot from anywhere but the hard drive?

When do you get 'Operating system not found' error? When you boot from USB, CD or hard disk?

this notebook ?

256 ,512 ,or 1 gig ram
fedora 15 will not run on less that 640 meg ( 2 gig is the RECOMMENDED Min.)
and the End of life and NOT supported fedora 13 will need 512 meg min. of ram

you might want to look into
on that net book.
