Load PPP during install?

I'd like to know if I can load PPP while booted from the install CD before I install Debian so I can use sakis3g to start my mobile broadband connection so the installer can connect to the net while installing.

All of the Debian installer cds can connect to the Internet. You will need to configure network at some stage. Start a terminal Ctrl-Shift-F2 if required (Ctrl-Shift-F7 to go back to GUI).

- Yes, I know. My computer can't though, without PPP.

"You will need to configure network at some stage."
- Yes, I know. I'm trying to do that while booted from the install CD before I install.

"Start a terminal Ctrl-Shift-F2 if required (Ctrl-Shift-F7 to go back to GUI)."
- That only works -after- I install, I'm trying to connect -before- I install, but I need to enable/load/install PPP to achieve this. So I'll ask again, shall I?

Can I load PPP while booted from the install CD before I install Debian?

I'm not sure dial up is available on the installation cd. If it is you will probably have to to edit /etc/ppp files manually and then run pon and poff commands to connect and disconnect.
