LiveCD based Game Emulator

Hey All,

I have played around with AdvanceCD (and AdvanceMAME), that fits what I would want to do, but only with arcade games. Basically I am wondering how difficult it would be to create a Linux LiveCD that only needs to do one thing (or at least one thing that the user is aware of). All it would need to do is run an emulator with one game (so the game name would be part of the command I guess). That's it.

So like if I created one of these with the NES emulator and Duck Hunt, after the user put the CD in the drive and started their machine, it would load everything and then Duck Hunt would start playing.

I am still learning a lot of this and have never made my own Linux LiveCD/DVD, but thought this was a cool idea and wanted to see if it would be possible. I am thinking the distro would end up being kind of small because it wouldn't need a lot of things (web browser, office, etc).

I haven't done a ton of research yet, but have looked around a little and haven't found too much. Any ideas/thoughts on how to get started, if this is something I will even be able to accomplish, or tips on better searching phrase will all be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

For various reasons your idea is implausible in practice.

LQ wont let me post a link, yet, because I haven't offered up 5 posts...but my favored method for creating livecds is linux-live.org. Every idea is plausible, even if it's only plausible to the author.
