We can help, if you actually ask a specific QUESTION. You say nothing about version/distro of Linux, what software you're using to stream, what you mean by 'evaluate', what kind of P2P network, or provide ANY details. Define your question, and start by using Google to look up answers...if you encounter a SPECIFIC problem, post it here with those details. Something like "I want to measure bandwidth over a 4GLTE video network, using XXXX hardware and YYYY Linux, and program ZZZZ, and I'm getting AAAA message when I do (something)."

I'm using: ubuntu10.04, ns2.35, zetasim to simulate p2p network and evalvid to simulate and evaluate video streaming.
and now I need to combine it together, but I did't know how I can do that!
so my specific problem is how I can combine zetasim with evalvid?

You *WOULD* know, if you had read the documentation on those things. Please see the "Question Guidelines" link in my posting signature; had you searched LQ (as suggested in the sticky posts, forum rules, and question guidelines), you'd have found:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...-a-4175553845/

...which addresses EXACTLY your situation.

AGAIN, you need to read the LQ Rules and question guidelines. Do NOT use text speak, and you, PERSONALLY, need to show some effort of your own. We will HELP you, but you're (essentially), asking us to read that thread FOR YOU, and TELL YOU step by step what you need to do, rather than YOU showing any effort of your own.

You were handed a link that tells you what to do, complete with documentation. Now, YOU actually need to read it, understand it, and TRY to do something of your own. Until you do that, and post some of the code you're having problems with, there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING we can help you with.

Dear TB0ne.
I will explain my exactly problem.
when I'm applying evalvid, I'm using special agent, ok.
and when I'm applying zetasim, also I'm using special agent, ok.
so to transmit live video streaming using evalvid over p2p network using zetasim, I'm need to combine them together, ok.

so my problem is that: how I can use them together in the same app && which agent I have to use
so that I demand to provide me with any example that combine them together to start from it to form my special senario for my research.

thanks very much for any help.

the link that "TB0ne" gave you has a patch in post#18 and a different one in #22

read the code in that patch
and install it

and see TB0ne's post #26

you also might want to REREAD your textbook chapters and ask your teacher

Yes, right..you have explained it SEVERAL times now, but don't appear to be READING or UNDERSTANDING the answer. You were handed links, guides, and information...it is now up to YOU to actually READ them, follow their advice, and do something.

Again, we are NOT going to write code for you, read documentation for you, or type up exact how-to guides for you. You will have to show some effort of your own.
