linuxdcpp hard to install

I have valknut on my fedora 7 on an athlon computer. I try to install also linuxdcpp, but it seems much harder than I could imagine. First, I find no rpm for linuxdcpp. I try to use the tar.gz archive, but after uinstalling, it seems that there was needed scons. Who neede gtk+ 2.6 or more. This was also only in gtk tar.gz archive. when I try to compile it, I receive error telling me that there are also another files missing. I had almost enough about this neverending story, to be honnest. It is not a more easy way to inslatll linuxdcpp ?
Thank you !
