Smile linux unknown open collaboration service API error 999


Dear frndz
whenever i tries to install new look and feel packages in kali linux KTE envirnment there is an error "linux unknown open collaboration service API error 999" solution please

Welcome!

If you want a customizeable distro, Kali wouldn't be the first choice. The last thing any Kali user is thinking about is 'look and feel' of the gui! But, in answer to your question, the servers are probably down right now.

Read the LQ Rules about text-speak (and NOT using it), the "Question Guidelines", *AND* the sticky post about Kali Linux in this very forum.

Kali is for EXPERIENCED Linux users, and even then it's designed for network security/pentesting. NOT for use as a daily distro, nor is meant to be user-friendly. Did you read Kail's own website when you downloaded it? Their own install documentation?? Use Mint or Ubuntu; that is the solution.
