linux uninstall

I have Mepis32 installed, but it crashed and will not load at startup.
How can I uninstall it or delete it? I have a dual boot, as I am using XP as well...I am afraid if I delete the GRUB I will not be able to boot to windows.. can anyone help with the uninstallation of Linux?

If you don't want to use it anymore, just leave it alone.
If you want a new distro, install over the top.
If you want to reclaim the space, use GParted to remove the linux partition and expand the XP partition.

Put installation Linux cd in.
When it ask you about disk partition- delete all the "LINUX" partition including swap. It should show it as free space.
Reboot you computer with XP cd in.
Go on recovery console run these
1-fixboot
2-fixmbr

And reboot machine. From window you can now see ex-linux disk space format it as you wish.

By the way If you just reinstall linux I would take care of every thing including dual boot.
You will be happy using both Linux-Win.

Thanks.
