rh6 also went "End Of Life" back in 2006
there has been no support for it for 7 years
scene then there has been
RH7
RH8
RH9
RHEL2
RHEL3
RHEL4
EHEL5
and RHEL6
with RHEL 6.4 the current OS
redhat is only supporting
RHEL4.9 , RHEL5.X and RHEL6.X
see the redhat life cycle
https://access.redhat.com/support/po...ta/?cid=378164
( none of the ancient RH's are listed )
rh6 predates almost everyone here , except for a few "old timers"
it also uses the very old "Linux 2.2.5" kernel
the 2.2 kernel is not supported any longer .
now for the current RHEL6.4
( a support contract IS a requirement ! )
for a cluster install on servers
https://www.redhat.com/wapps/store/catalog.html
contact RedHat sales
and read the install guide
-- for cluster administration
https://access.redhat.com/site/docum...ion/index.html
but this is for the CURRENT os
and NOT for the 14 year old RH6
