I'm running Linux on a VMware player and every time I reboot it or shut it down it does not keep any of the changes I have made. Please help.

Did you actually run the installation process on the virtual disk drive?

Do you have a virtual drive attached to the VM?

It could be that you are running a "live" system in the VMware palyer.

I agree with questions above, we need to know first.

Some vm's can be setup to return to the original snapshot always. Guess it could be doing that by accident too.
