Linux Redhat Imaged / Cloned

I have tried cloning my linux hard drive to another drive and the imaging process works ok. However I can not boot. I get a No Operating System Found, the Acronis Imaging software says I need to re-create the MBR for the grub bootloader. How do I re-create the boot loader?

usually booting off a rescue disk, mounting the root file system and issuing grub-update
