Boot your Fedora install CD & follow the instructions for using Rescue mode to restore your boot loader.

I followed what you have said. but still my linux is not working. is that we have to change anything in the grub.conf file?

If grub was previously working and you have re-installed Windows then you shouldn't need to mess with the .conf file,
just run grubinstall again (or do it with whatever gui you use) and it should be fine. In extremis make a boot floppy to use while you sort things out. |
When you installed XP, it rewrote your MBR. Did you have GRUB write its version of the MBR to replace the XP MBR? (In other words, do you boot to the XP login screen, or to the GRUB selection screen?)
You said that you followed Januz' instructions, but I just wanted to confirm that you have replaced the XP MBR with the correct GRUM MBR. |
Windows XP is booting directly as if there is no other operating system. That means its booting to the XP login screen. How do we rewrite the MBR so that it recognizes the Linux also.

Follow Jamaz Instructions, If you boot from your FC cd you will get an option to enter rescue mode. From their you should be able to restore your Bootloader to the MBR
