linux problems
Ok, when ever i start up my linux computer, i get the follwing message

ls And when i login and go to internet it says it cant find the host. But when i go to network setings it shows that its disabled. i go to edit and it say start this device when computer starts its checked off. Atuomaticly obtain IP address setting with dhcp. should it be with bootp i have a linksys non wireless router. I dont know what is happing. after i enable it manually it works. but doesnt start by its self. Thanks:Pengy: |
random problems
I've had problems similar to those, where my network wouldn't start. It was due to a partial-install of linux. I ignored some errors while I was installing and things worked great for weeks but then I started having problem. You may want to re-install or make sure you installed it right. Also when you post, include your linux distribution and versions, that will help a lot.
You don't need to use bootp, its for booting off the router and I don't think you're doing that :) |
im running fedora core 3
and i did full install. Is there anyother way to fix then renstalling |
