Linux piping vs Windows piping
 

I was wonder which has better and faster pipes, linux or windows ? I'm a newbie to linux environment, appreciate if anyone can pinpoint the main advantages of using pipes in linux. thanks

Here's a nice overview for it; in summary Linux'
performance on pipes leaves windows for dead in
the water. While it's somewhat dated I'd think it's
fair to assume the results are still valid.
