Linux partition help
 
Hi i'm going to use linux, but i can't understand about partion. i have 60gb hd. i want fast 10gb or 15gb use for total linux system then other partion 20gm for ntfs and other gb for another ntfs file system. (I'll use ntfs for backup for winxp)(I have another hd where i use windows) so please somebody make a total full partion list for this. i'll do it my self when i partion while setup, my ram is 512mb. recently i manage Fedore core3 and i want to join linux world. ok people plz help me

what you can do is make desired ntfs partitions from XP on the second hard drive...I believe its in >Administrative Services>Computer management. Make desired size NTFS partitions so that you have some free space. Once you are done put in your fedora core 3 installation cd and then select the second hard drive for installation. Choose automatic partition scheme within that free space. Fedora installation will take care of the rest..
