Linux on z Series Installation

We have a z9 BC mainframe server. we are trying to install the red hat linux on our server.

We were successful in configuring the LPAR, n the starting steps. we got stuck up in the step where it asks to connect to Linux using the telnet.

The LPAR ip address is not connecting , whereas we were able to ping from the other LPAR's.

Could you please help us to proceed further.

Hi, welcome to LQ!

Are you trying to install directly to the LPAR or are/will you
be running Linux under z/VM?
