Talking Linux on old apple notebook


Can I install linux on an old apple notebook.

If it boots CD's, yes.

hi

there are atleast two options that i am aware of.

1)yellow dog linux which is a modification of redhat for macs
2) gentoo live cds which will boot up linux without installing anything and have an option to install it later if you like it.


yellow dog has been around for sometime and is very mature. you might want to check it out
