Linux on a 486
Hi all -
new to these forums & linux in general, although have been using Fedora on my desktop for about six months.
I have an old IBM Thinkpad 755CD (486 - 16 MB RAM) that I would like to install a basic distribution on - mainly just to practice command line, but also for some basic word processing etc.
The laptop's CD-ROM is missing, so a distribution that can be installed via the FDD is a priority.
Any suggestions, advice, info etc. would be greatly appreciated.
If I should be posting this in another forum here please let me know!
TIA,
Mezcal
