Linux , monitormode and dhcp
how DHCLIENT effects monitor mode of my wireless card?
From some documentaries i came to know that its mandatory to kill dhclient process while entering in monitor mode..but there is no further explaination for his activity... from the command in unix termial:airmon-ng check wlan0 the following result is displayed Found 3 processes that could cause trouble. If airodump-ng, aireplay-ng or airtun-ng stops working after a short period of time, you may want to run 'airmon-ng check kill' PID Name 583 NetworkManager 622 wpa_supplicant 1841 dhclient how these things can make trouble at my activity? |

https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...r-mode-325366/ dhclient/dhcp are about getting an IP address for you, which involves sending stuff to the router. Monitor mode doesn't send, but listens. I think it would be necessary to kill either of them. |
