I recently installed Linux Mint 13 Cinnamon on my Lenovo IdeaPad Y580. The trackpad worked fine when I was testing it out in the live version, and it still does for the most part. The problem is I can't right click.
Any help?
Thanks in advance.

can you do so if you connect an external mouse? - Your problem sounds weird, because usually, those touchpads simply emulate a standard PS/2 or USB mouse, so that they don't require an extra driver.

I've been using a USB mouse fine. I re-installed Windows when I first got the computer but before I did I backed up the drivers folder with all the Intel, Lenovo and Nvidia drivers. Nothing worked properly, including the touchpad, when I first installed Windows 7 until I went through and installed each driver. Many odd behaviors that were apparent when I first installed 7 are also apparent when I boot Mint.
