Linux Mint not working after installing and rebooting
So I was trying to install Linux Mint, and it told me to reboot to finish the installation. When I rebooted, it told me to remove the installation medium and press enter, so I did. But when I rebooted, it just said "No Bootable Device". It's not in the boot order either
You have probably one of 2 problems:
1. either your laptop is trying to boot from the wrong drive in which reboot your Acer and keep hitting F12 and you should see the boot menu. Try booting from the main drive, if that works then you need to change settings in your BIOS.
2. the installation was corrupted and TBO I've had trouble when I plug out the USB key and press enter, as you mentioned. I always HARD RESET the laptop when I get to that point as in HOLD DOWN THE POWER BUTTON until the laptop goes off plug out the USB key and then reboot.
I'd imagine it's the second, do a fresh installation with all the default settings and if that works using the ending above then reinstall with the settings you want.

I don't think it was corrupted since I redownloaded it and still had the same problem. I'll keep trying

What is supposed to be at the top of the boot order? There are 5 things: HDD: Liteon IT L8H-128V2G, USB HDD: General USB Flash Disk, USB FDD: (that's it, there's nothing else, just the colon), USB CDROM: , and Network Boot IPV4:
