Wink linux mint


usb stick adapter. 8GB sandisk formatted but drag and drop does not work. trying to record music on sd card. is it possible

You may need permission, can you e.g: make a text file on the drive or anything?

As suggested in the second link, perhaps use a different 'reader'. If you have put it into your laptop slot try a reader from a discount shop with a usb lead.
So in effect one usb to another, with luck.
