Hello Linux Mint 18.2 driver seekers,

I found the right driver for my MFP 477 fdn printer/scanner/fax machine, I downloaded the driver on the hP.com website, it's called HPLIP-3.17.10 which is a self extracting, self installing driver that will load into your terminal, when it was finished everything works just fine.
The problem was with LM 18.2 OS does not come with this driver, so you have to find it, download it and install it through your terminal, then it will work.

I believe HPLIP is in the Mint repos, though, in the most recent LTS, the version is 3.15.x.

Is that precise version of HPLIP required for that printer?
