Linux Mint 17 and Alesis iO4 / Rode NT2-A

So I've been a Linux Mint 17 "Qiana" MATE user since.... I think it was yesterday... ^^
And I must say, I really do like it!

But there are one or two thing I don't get. I've got a Logitech Wireless Headset I usually just use as a headphone. The quality of the mic in it isn't that fascinating. It has worked to get the headset running but currently I have to talk through it as well because my MIDI-Interface where I plugin my mic does not work.

This interface is an Alesis iO4 and under that other OS called "Windows" (whatever this is ) it worked just fine. I don't know whether it's important, but my mic is a Rode NT2-A. Pretty common studio capacitor microphone. It's in XLR Port 3 and the interface is connected to my computer per USB.

In my audio settings, i can tick my iO4 as an input, but e.g. in TeamSpeak, it can't open the audio device then.

I've thought about drivers, but unfortunately I haven't found any Alesis drivers for Linux.

Hope someone can help meh :3

Hi:

I found your device online and tried to learn all that I could about it.
http://www.alesis.com/io4

I'm sorry I could not find any linux drivers for your Alesis:-

Maybe try here for Community Support and ask there-
http://community.alesis.com/alesis

Aside from that you could build a driver from source but that's not my specialty; sorry.

Maybe someone who has 'C Sharp' experience with Windows might know?

Good luck-
