Linux mint 17.3 live usb problem

Hello. I am new to this forum and linux.
Im trying to install mint 17.3 from live usb penn. Tied it on a laptop and it worked fine. Plugged it in my main computer and i boots up normaly and starts normal. It works about 30 secound and then it stops. No message on screen. It seem like the usb ports stops working. Anybody have an idea?

That's marvelous. I haven't had any experience of working in a laptop with a USB Pen merely "tied" on it.

It's probably because you "Plugged" it. Try again the way you "tied" it on a laptop, it might work the same it did.

On your main computer, did you try different USB ports? You could try another flash drive or a CD/DVD if your computer has an optical drive.

Yes it couldn't be mounted too, again. Unplugging without first unmounting causes some file disorder within storage. But this is easily solved by running fsck, file system check.

Actually if you have no more important data inside why need to save win 7? Or you can save the data first then fresh install a Mint.
