Linux Mint 16 Petra Wireless Connectivity Problem
Hi all,

I have installed Linux Mint 16 in my HP Pavilion Dv6 2155Tx alongside of windows 7 ultimate. I am unable to access internet via wireless network.

I tried using driver manager but it is unable to select the bcmwl-kernel-source and selects "Do not use the device"

BCM 4312 802.11b/g LP-PHY [14e4:4315] is the wireless networking chip card. Please suggest a off-line way to tackle the problem.

Thanks in advance.

Have you seen this?
What you'll have to do is research this in Win7, save all the necessary data, files, etc. in a Windows folder that you have access to in LM16. Then boot into linux, follow the instructions, and test it out. If you fail to get it online, then at least you'll have some good info to post here so someone w/more expertise than me can help you figure it out.

First of all thank you for replying.:)
I just had started learning linux and it's very inspiring to listen from you all. I did found a way to this problem. I found the following link very useful to get Broadcom's BCM4312 drivers running:
