Linux "Major" Newbie - Beginning books?

Hi all. I'm an entry level system administrator. I need to learn Linux, but alot of the mumbo-jumbo I don't understand (i386 vs x86_64). I need a good beginners book that can help those beginning questions. What do you recommend?
