linux magazines
Does anyone out there know of some linux magazines that one can subscribe to? I'm interested in seeing one that hoghlights linux in a corporate environement mainly focuinsing on the server side of thing. I get redmond magazine that keeps me up on all th Microsoft offerings completely free so I assume linux has a similiar publication.

Linux is more community-based than Windows and tends to use the Internet as a primary means of communicating — so there are fewer Linux magazines than Windows out there.
I subscribe to Linux Format magazine (future publishing) (http://www.linuxformat.com/) which is UK-based but available for subscription internationally. The subscription version includes Linux Pro which focuses entirely on Linux in the enterprise/server market, although the main magazine is more general and covers the whole embedded/desktop/server/supercomputer range, and runs tutorials on things like common applications and programming toolkits. You might also want to look at SlashDot, which is a major news source for both Linux and software generally. |
I buy a magazine called "Linux for You". It deals with every field of linux, from servers to newbies. (Note: I live in India. I don't know if this is available outside)
You could also ask your local LUG. I'm sure someone in the lug gets some magazine |

If you are interested in the corporate environment, you may want to look at O3Magazine.
Also, I have learned a lot from Free Software Magazine. |
