Linux login problem

Hi everyone

I'm new to Linux and having a problem logging in. When I login, there's a message saying "Cannot find cd213434000775gfhijthdssn .....This will prevent GNOME from operating correctly.(I don't remeber the full message).

This problem only happen when I login in a WAN network but with LAN, it's ok, nothing happened.

Can you help me with this ? Thanks if you can.

Have a nice day

Maybe its just gnome complaining about not being able to find an ip for your domain name
try editing the /etc/hosts file and add a mapping for your domain and external ip.
