Linux Lite-3.2-32 bit iso

Benn trying to download above, but receive message cd is not large enough.
I am using a 700mb rewritable disc.

How large is the above program and do I need to purchase 800mb discs?

Incidentaly I did purchase a copy of ubuntu from the Linux shop and having installed it I constantly received messages stating items were missing from program.I do not know what the problem was so I removed from my laptop and am now going to try the above system.

I HAVE NO TIME FOR WINDOWS AND HATE WINDOWS 10.

Assuming you downloaded the iso from here, have a look between the 32bit and 64 bit download buttons on the page for the image size. Otherwise, look at the image on your system, you should easily be able to find the size of the image

Ron McQuisten,

Welcome to LQ.

From the above link, you will see that you need to use a DVD or a USB drive because the download is 900MB in size.

FILENAME: linux-lite-3.2-32bit.iso
SIZE: 990MB - DVD
MD5SUM: 12d43af6f746cf5ade8f1408da5f84c8

Manual:

Troubleshooting:

What laptop do you have?

You can probably use a wide range of Linux distros to replace W10, but we need to know what hardware and RAM, CPU etc you have.

When I first started learning about Linux, I bought a DVD from the Linux Shop because that seemed the easiest option at the time.

There is no need to buy a DVD. You can download and burn an .iso image to DVD and then boot from that DVD:
