Linux is asleep...
I recently installed linux and after leaving the machine idle for a short period of time, the system went to sleep and I can't wait it up. The keyboard and mouse are dead on the Linux machine, but they work on other machines fine. I've tried a USB mouse and a PS2, and neither work.
What can I do go get the system up? |
Some systems do have problems with DPMS and
graphics drivers, namely I've seen boxes with NVidia cards freeze hard after 20 minutes (X default) of inactivity. The only thing you can do in this situation is to give the box a hard reset, and then modify your X-configuration to disable power-saving. Cheers, Tink |
THanks,
That was what I was afraid of... |
