Yum error while Linux Installation via network

Im trying to install a linux system via network(nfs/ftp) on VMware .
Im using RHEL 5.
my client system is able to access the installation &
set its own hostname from server .
Problem is that after disk druid (& after asking me to enable swap space),
it says "Execption Occured" & gives me option to save locally or on remote system or debug.
It was related to yum So i disabled yum on ma server.
But it gives me same error

Here is a part of it:
Traceback (most recent call first):
File "/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/yum/", line 415, in doGroupSetup

Is yum essential for network installation ?

it does not even giv an error

Plz guide me ... Thnx

why would you want to disable yum?

are all your files / folders in the NFS share? did you edit the .discinfo file?

Last few lines of Debug report is related to yum,so i felt it mite be because of some wrong
configured yum files.
But yum is not essential for network installation (through nfs / ftp ) right ????

& abt the .discinfo file . I hav RHEL 5 setup in 5 different cds which i copied together & each cd has its own .discinfo file
Only difference in file content is :

Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 5

where ? is the cd number . i copied the 1st cd's file ,hence 1 in my case .
What do u suggest I do ????

All files are in NFS share ...!!
