VMware software are proprietary products for which the vendor provides documentation. As goes for all things you don't understand it's advisable to read the documentation before doing anything else. So download the VMware-player-6.0.1-1379776.exe installer instead then see www.vmware.com/pdf/desktop/vmware_player50.pdf, www.vmware.com/pdf/vmware_player200.pdf, www.vmware.com/pdf/VMwarePlayerManual10.pdf or www.vmware.com/support/pubs/player_pubs.html.
