I'm a Linux newbie and i got Mandrake Linux 10.0 and if i enter the setup my mouse doesn't work
and wich partitions linux NEED....
i heard that it was linux swap and linux native but i'm not sure
what kind of mouse do you have? maybe it's unsupported in the setup but after the install the mandrake system should support it. the minimal partition setup is 1 swap en 1 native, correct
got a Logitech Cordless Optical mouse but if i enter install how i can do then without mouse with keyboard is kinda ehhhhh..... hard to make partitions and tnx for fast reply
Hi, I'm sure that you can choose to install your Mandrake box in text mode and not in graphical mode.
This means that you don't need mouse to install you box, but you'll see if your mouse works after the first OS boot.
