Linux-illiterate user needs help with his wireless card.

I just put red hat fedora on my dell laptop. I have no clue how to install my wireless card. I am very new to linux and have no idea how this works. so if someone could point nme to where I can get detailed instructions on installing my cisco card I thank them for it.

Take a look at ndiswrapper, and see if your card is on the supported hardware list.

If it is supported, here are insallation instructions.

Very well written for an illiterate... Did you perhaps mean inexperienced?

Are you sure that the RedHat installer did not recognize the card--or was it plugged in when you installed?

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.
