Linux HID Gadget Feature Reports Supported?
I'm trying to utilize Angstrom Linux 3.2.18 on a small embedded board (BeagleBoard XM) to function as a HID device.
I'm running into the issue of having the device return Feature Reports to the host machine. Does anyone know if this is this supported in the HID Gadget driver in Linux? I've got a very patchwork understanding of HID though I've been trying to learn all I can to get the job done. The larger picture is returning multiple touch points back to a Windows 7 host machine via HID. I'm almost there - I have a single touch working. But I think the host needs to see a feature report that I don't know how to provide. Any help is appreciated! -Len |
Did you figure it out. I have touch working with Linux and Win7 but not win8 and one of the failing commands is the feature report.

Haven't figured it out yet, though I'm getting some solid help here: http://www.lvr.com/forum/index.php?topic=1118.0
I'm still stuck on getting single touch tests to work but not multiple touch. If I get it working I'll definitely be posting on that lvr.com thread. Were you able to get more than one touch working yet on any system? -Len |
