linux help


hello i just installed mandrake linux 10.0 on a different pc but it asks me wt i want 2 load i choose linux and it says

run level

help wt do i do here?

Hi.

I'm not familiar with that particular error message, but there are 7 run levels available. On Mandrake, you either want 3 for a text login, or 5 for a GUI. I'd try 5 first.

but how do i get into runlevel 5 when i type 5 it just says run out of processes

Type init x at a commandline where x is the runlevel you want.
