linux gods please help me
ok... here is the problem..
i downloaded the movie SWAT off of xmule... during the download i previewed it to make sure it was the right file name and it was... a few days after it finished i decided i was going to watch it and when i click on it i get a message that the file doesn't seem to exist anymore... i treid many different ways to view this file but always get that message.. i decided to just forget the horrible file and delete it.. now it is in my trash can and won't leave..
can anyone help me:
1. play the file?
2. delete the file

to delete it, login as root and go to your user trash and empty it.
if it played when you were downloading it, it should play now too. what kind of file is it? what video player are you using?

if you are sure it finished and is not corrupted then it *should* work if it worked during the downloading process.

Put quotes around it:
mplayer -vo xv "/home/deadbaby/Desktop/Trash/Incoming/???SWAT_SVCD_CD1.mpg"
And now I'm closing this thread since it just occurred to me it's illegal...
Please refer to the Rules, and feel free to contact me OR Jeremy concerning this if you have any questions (my email is below my username. )
