As a newbie, my concern is how can i get a LINUX distribution to run on IBM S/390 platform....?
I have downloaded MARIST COLLEGE LINUX distribution, but this one is limited and doesn't have all I/O drivers...
Now i have heard that someone can download full LINUX from IBM, SUSE, etc... Can someone confirm this and tell me how and where i can find these distributions...
a newbie using an S/390??? seems liek a very bizarre situation. My old university was given an S/390 system by IBM, runs redhat, but has to run it under VM, bit of an odd situation really.
