linux fonts look like cr@p
why, in this day and age, Linux fonts still look like crap?
I thought that Adobe patent on hinting the font rasterization had expired years ago. the only font that looks ok is Liberation. and no, anti-aliasing is not an option (for low res displays) in my view. edit: I've just installed mscorefonts and, well, they also seem ok. |
Have you checked out the custom designed ubuntu fonts?
http://font.ubuntu.com/ Far from crap. They are quite elegant. Cheers. |
