Linux Fedora 25 Icons and Cursors

I cannot change the mouse icon/cursors on my Fedora 25 installation. Searching the forum I found several suggested methods to do so but they did not work for this package. Can anyone help me on that and thanks before hand for any advice. I wanted to change to a larger or bold arrow instead of the small one. iBrinks

Hi, iBrinks,
If you want to try another "look" to the cursor and you're using the Gnome 3 desktop, you can install gnome-tweak-tool via su -c 'dnf install gnome-tweak-tool'. When you run it, use the "Appearance" page to try the Breeze cursors that are more visible than the default Adwaita cursor. If you like them, then you're done. If not, then you need to dig deeper and find where Gnome keeps its active and inactive cursors, add a compliant set that you like, and get it all working...
Good luck

Thanks I did that earlier but only found the one adwaita option under cursor and breeze is under icon options which should not apply in this case. I just tried that and cannot tell any difference in the mouse cursor so i suppose i will have to dig deeper into "cursorolgy" of Linux to see if i can activate any other options. Thanks for the feedback.

Then you must install more theme packages for gnome.

I installed several now and have changed fonts etc and themes but no cursors. So will continue to work on this.
