No one here is going to do your homework for you but here's a good starting point, DRBL:

best of luck!

Hi,

May I give a humble suggestion? As you pointed out:

...what you want to achieve is not an easy task. This task is by no means the right "entry point" for anyone. The uphill climb would/could likely discourage you beyond repair

There are ways to do it...but it takes some study from you part.

Good luck, and, if you do want to venture on, we'll help you, dont worry...you may want to look at ltsp for starters...

I'd get a knoppix cd/dvd from 3.1 to 5.x versions.

Almost all of them have a working Knoppix terminal server program. When you run the program (set of scripts) it does all you need for a pxe boot of remote systems. You can then look at what it does and test your setup. Then you can recreate it or use other web pages for how to.

Just found a "spin" in the Arch assortment. Maybe an answer?

PS - it may not really be a spin as such, rarther a variant to the Arch install...

You could checkout this How-to. There's probably far to much information in it but it seems to cover the topic pretty thouroughly even down to logic diagrams for a do-it yourself one!

http://www.faqs.org/docs/Linux-HOWTO...ess-HOWTO.html

Play Bonny!
