Linux Dictionary

Being new to linux, there is some terminology that I've been unfamiliar with. I've been looking around for a tutorial/dictionary type thing that would simply give deffinitions for many of the abbreviations and commands widely used in all the distributions I've seen, but they seem to be glossed over in forums. I've run into many terminology problems that have slowed down my learning of linux by forcing me to look through forum after forum until I've pieced together my own understanding. If anyone knows a webpage/tutorial/forum that can easily provide these deffinitions, I would appreciate this.
